The NYSC has responded to rumors on social media which claim that the bank accounts of corps members are being modified in preparation for an upcoming N70,000 minimum wage.

Eddy Megwa, the Director of Information and Public Relations at NYSC issued a statement disavowing these assertions and termed them as deceptive.

The NYSC reports that they have yet to receive any official instructions from the relevant authorities regarding the implementation of a minimum wage of N70,000 for Corps Members or adjustments to their account setups.

Clarifying the statement, it was expressed that there is no truth to this claim and it is completely false.
