Notorious Boko Haram terrorist Bochu Abacha has surrendered to troops of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) deployed in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State. The development was confirmed in a statement issued on Saturday in Maiduguri by the Chief Military Intelligence Officer of the MNJTF in N’Djamena, Lt. Col. Olaniyi Osaba. According to Osaba, Abacha, who was deeply involved in various terrorist activities, confessed to his role in several operations along the Monguno-Baga axis. He attributed his decision to surrender to the intensification of MNJTF military operations and declining involvement in terrorist activities.
