NOC congratulates Tobi Amusan on his triumph in the Diamond League
Tobi Amusan, a sprinting prodigy from Nigeria, has received congratulations from the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) for her amazing triumph at the Diamond League.
On Sunday night, Amusan won the top spot in the Oregon Diamond League.
The title was previously won by the 100m women’s hurdles champion in 2021 and 2022.
With a time of 12.33s, Amusan set the season’s best in the event.
Habu Ahmed Gumel, the NOC President, responded by praising Amusan for maintaining her focus on her objective.
In a note of congratulations, Gumel wrote: “Your triumph in the face of hardship, in particular, is encouraging. Tony Nezianya, Public Relations Officer, NOC.
