Nigerian Man Triumphs with Distinction in London After 17 WASSCE Attempts
After 17 attempts at the WASSCE, a resilient Nigerian man celebrates academic success by graduating with distinction from a renowned school in London, inspiring many with his perseverance.
Emmanuel Ahmadu, a Nigerian advocate for mental health residing in the United States, has accomplished an impressive milestone by receiving a distinction from the esteemed London Graduate School in the United Kingdom.
This notable achievement follows his attempts at the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), which he undertook 17 times.
During an interview in Lagos, Ahmadu recounted his motivating journey, emphasizing the resilience and determination that contributed to his academic accomplishments.
In addition to his educational success, Ahmadu has also been inducted as a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants in Lagos.
“My fellowship, which represents the highest level of membership in the Institute of Management Consultants, will enable me to serve as a thought leader capable of offering innovative strategies to address issues of depression and suicide.
“This recognition signifies not only a personal achievement but also a significant advancement in the global effort to combat mental health crises,” remarked Mr. Ahmadu.
“It serves as a call to action to develop solutions that foster hope and resilience,” he further stated.
Mr. Ahmadu noted that his personal narrative has resonated with audiences worldwide, inspiring countless individuals.
“My childhood, characterized by instability, led me to attend 16 primary schools and 14 secondary schools. Nevertheless, I remained steadfast, ultimately earning two honorary doctorates and contributing to mental health journals,” Mr. Ahmadu expressed.
