Niger Tornadoes aim to get back to winning ways in their matchup with Enyimba

The Niger Tornadoes are prepared to put the pressure on Enyimba in an effort to erase the memory of their loss to Sporting Lagos in Lagos last weekend.

When the Ikon Allah Boys take on the defending NPFL champions at Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, they hope to continue their strong home record.

After having played for the team in the past, Tornadoes tactician Hamza Abarah is well-known to the People’s Elephant, as are players Abiodun Adebayo, Hassan Abubakar, and Yahuza Bala.

Bala will be looking to increase his goal total to two after having his goal from Sunday’s match in Lagos disallowed.

In their first five games, the Niger Tornadoes have experienced two victories and three losses.

Enyimba is in dire need of a successful outcome following a lacklustre performance in the African Football League.

With one victory and one loss thus far this season, Finidi George’s team is at eighteenth in the NPFL standings.
