After a successful first tournament in Abuja, Nasarawa State has been selected to host the National Skating Championships in 2024.
At the end of the inaugural National Skating Championship on Saturday, Abdullahi Maikano, President of the Skating Federation of Nigeria (SFN), revealed this.
The incident happened in the service lane of the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua road, close to the Abuja City Gate.
Maikano promised that the championship’s exact day and month would be revealed shortly.
He claims that 20 states, including Abuja, participated in the recently concluded inaugural edition.
“We give thanks to God for the championship’s success and will strive to improve in order to make the next one even more exciting.
He remarked, “We are grateful to all competitors (skaters) and their coaches for honouring this title.”
