After-exam sign-out celebrations for graduating students are not permitted on campus or outside the polytechnic’s main gate, according to the administration of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
This was announced in a circular that Ali Hassan Mohammed, the school’s public relations officer, signed.
The statement states that the prohibition will be in place with strong security measures to ensure compliance immediately and until further notice.
This choice was made at an institution-hosted emergency management meeting.
The foul behaviour students demonstrated during post-exam sign-out celebrations both within and outside the polytechnic’s grounds was mentioned by the management as a cause for increased concern.
The administration also issued a warning that any student discovered breaking this rule will be dismissed from the school.
