Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a claim that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is plotting to apprehend him for alleged Naira abuse.

Portable, who is currently residing abroad, asserted that once he arrives in Nigeria, the anti-graft agency will take him into custody.

The singer, who recently pleaded with the EFCC to forgive him if they possess any evidence of him misusing the Naira, stated that he is now being targeted due to the request made by self-proclaimed social media activist, VeryDarkMan, for the agency to go after him for his alleged Naira abuse.

During an Instagram live session with his fans, Portable expressed his fear of being arrested upon his return to Nigeria, attributing it to VeryDarkMan’s mention of his name.

He criticized VeryDarkMan for speaking excessively and advised him to leave discussions on public matters to individuals in law enforcement agencies.

Portable also mocked VeryDarkMan’s physical appearance, mentioning that he appeared emaciated after his arrest.

He concluded by questioning VeryDarkMan’s occupation and belittling his contributions to society.
