Veteran Nigerian record producer and vocalist Samklef, also known as Samuel Oguachuba, has charged renowned performer and music mogul Banky W with instigating the cancel culture in the country’s music business.

Furthermore, he said that because the head of EME also bullied his former signees, Banky W is remaining mute about cries for justice for late rapper Mohbad, who supposedly passed away after being bullied by his old record label, Marlian Music.

On Tuesday, Samklef made the claims using his authenticated X handle.

He claimed to have pardoned Banky W but chose to speak out so that others might be informed.

“Banky W, the person who started my own cancel culture in 2012 with one of his friends in Soundcity,” he added. He’s a pastor now, lol.

It’s time to share your real life experiences, fellow artists! Don’t think twice! Many of them are silent because they are aware of their own involvement, which is why they are conscious of it. They weren’t only as aggressive as Naira Marley, either!

I’ve made amends, but I’ll still share my experience for others to learn from.
