Musk Promises $1 Million Daily Awards for Signers of Pro-Trump Petition
Elon Musk announces a $1 million daily prize initiative for individuals who sign a petition supporting Donald Trump, intensifying his involvement in U.S. political movements.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has revealed that he will grant $1 million daily to a resident of a swing state who signs his online petition endorsing the US Constitution, continuing this initiative until the US presidential election on November 5.
In early October, Musk introduced a petition along with a referral incentive, initially promising $47 for each registered swing-state voter who signs it. The petition focuses on defending free speech and gun rights and seeks to attract potential voters for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
On Saturday, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X (formerly known as Twitter) launched his giveaway campaign by presenting a one million dollar check to an attendee at his rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. During the event, he also encouraged people to vote for the former US president.
“By the way, John had no idea. So anyway, you’re welcome,” Musk remarked while handing a check to a man named John Dreher.
With a little more than two weeks remaining until the election, recent polls indicate that Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is leading Trump in three key battleground states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Musk, who had once presented himself as politically neutral, publicly endorsed the Republican nominee soon after a failed assassination attempt on Trump on July 13. If he wins, the former president has pledged to establish a new government position called “secretary of cost-cutting,” specifically designed for Musk.
Earlier this month, Musk, with a net worth exceeding $247 billion according to Forbes, announced that he had contributed $75 million to the America Political Action Committee (America PAC), which he established in July. The organization primarily concentrates on recruiting canvassers and deploying digital advertisements aimed at encouraging Trump supporters to vote.
