Celebrities and followers of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, gathered on social media on Wednesday to honour the artist, who would have turned 28 today if he were still with us.

At the age of 27, Mohbad, a former signee of Azeez Fashola’s Marlian Records, also known as Naira Marley, passed away on September 12, 2023.

Days after Mohbad passed away, the Lagos State Police Command established an investigation team to determine the cause of his death in response to the divisive discussions surrounding his passing. On September 21, 2023, his body was excavated for an autopsy.
