Mohbad: Coroner’s Request Primeboy, Sam Larry, and Naira Marley

The music artists were called before the court by the coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, for the next hearing on October 25.

The Lagos Coroner has summoned musicians Abdulazeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, Owodunni Eletu, known as Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, regarding the death of the 27-year-old artist. The coroner is looking into the death of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

The musicians have been ordered to appear before the court on October 25 at the following session by the coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi.

The investigating police officer, Oderinde-Gafar Ajibola, and Muhammed Yusuf, both employed by the State Criminal Investigation Department’s Homicide Section in Panti, Yaba, have both testified in front of the coroner about the investigation’s results.

In their testimony, they informed the coroner that there was no proof that Sam Larry and Naira Marley physically hurt Mohbad. Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the nurse who gave Mohbad an injection, and the two performers, they added, have no connection.

Additionally, the coroner was informed that an autopsy is still ongoing to ascertain Mohbad’s true cause of death.

The coroner then gave the police the order to guarantee the musicians it had summoned would be present in court on the postponed date.
