Troops from the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army have successfully demolished a den used by kidnappers in Taraba State.

In a well-coordinated operation carried out in Kofa Adamu village, located in the Takum Local Government Area, the troops were able to rescue a victim who had been held captive by the criminals. The operation was conducted based on reliable intelligence received regarding the activities and hideout of the suspected kidnappers.

These criminals had abducted Mr. Hussein Adamu on March 26, 2024, in Kofa Adamu village and demanded a ransom of N2 million.

The 93 Battalion/Sub-Sect 3A OPWS swiftly responded to the intelligence, cordoning off the area and successfully rescuing the victim. As a result of the operation, three suspected kidnappers involved in the abduction were apprehended.
