Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, has stated that he is “mad” over missing a penalty against Poland in their last World Cup group match.

Woijiech Szczesny was found to have fouled Messi, and Albiceleste were given a penalty in the opening period.

However, the attacker for Paris Saint-Germain had his attempt saved, and the score remained 0-0.

However, two goals in the second half from Alexis Mac Allister and Julian Alvarez made sure Argentina won the group.

[I’m] furious for missing the penalty, but the team came out stronger after my error,” remarked Messi following the game.

Everyone is equal, thus anyone can win. As always, we must get ready for the game, said Messi.
