Former Senator for Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, criticized ex-Kaduna Governor Nasir Elrufai for alleging that Governor Uba Sani received “N150 billion” from Tinubu and failed to inform the state’s residents about it.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Shehu Sani alleged that no one in Kaduna State can confidently claim they know how the $350 million World Bank loan given to the state was spent.

He stated, “The former Governor of Kaduna State accused the current Governor of accepting ‘N150 billion’ from Tinubu and failing to disclose it to the state’s citizens. Let’s revisit history to uncover the truth.”

“The former governor received millions of dollars in Paris Refund from Buhari and failed to disclose this information to the state’s citizens.”

He received billions in excess crude funds from Buhari but did not disclose this information to the public in Kaduna.

He received billions in ecological funds from Buhari but never disclosed it to the people of Kaduna.

He received billions in special grants from Buhari through the CBN but never disclosed it to the public of Kaduna.

He collected billions in stamp duties from BUHARI without revealing it to the people of the state.

He obtained billions from a commercial bank and mortgaged the state’s internally generated revenue without informing the people of Kaduna.

No one in Kaduna State can confidently swear on their holy book that they know how every kobo of the $350 million World Bank loans was spent until the Kaduna Assembly conducts a probe.

If the current Governor indeed declined to reveal the so-called “150 billion,” he likely took a cue from the former Governor. The former Governor is approaching equity with unclean hands.

If the current governor is backing Tinubu for financial reasons, can we assume that their predecessor supported and showed deference to Buhari for similar motives?

The man with body odor is accusing someone else of having bad breath.

The former Governor also accused the current Governor of betrayal, describing it as a situation where the legend of treachery is outsmarted by an even greater master.
