A 42-year-old man named Kolawole has been detained by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly defiling his 13-year-old female house helper in the Eneka community, Obio-Akpor Local Government area of the state.
The suspect, who works for an oil company, is presently being held in custody while the investigation is ongoing, according to SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, who verified the arrest.

According to the PPRO, the suspect was detained by the state police command’s Human Rights Desk as a result of a report from worried neighbours that the adolescent girl had run to for assistance after the suspect allegedly defiled her.
According to information obtained by OBASANJO NEWS24, numerous women in the area claimed to have checked the teenage girl’s genitalia in order to verify the accuracy of her story and to have proven that she had actually been repeatedly penetrated.
Additionally, they stated that the girl had a medical examination, which also supported her accusation.
