Man Arrested for Stabbing Girlfriend’s Brother in Ogun State
Ogun State police arrest a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend’s brother. Discover the details of the incident and the current status of the case.
Damilola Momoh, the brother of Dada Taiwo’s girlfriend, was allegedly stabbed with a broken bottle by 35-year-old Taiwo who has now been apprehended by authorities from Ogun State Police Command.
An argument over a borrowed phone in Agbado, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State led to the incident.
Taiwo’s arrest has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the command, Omolola Odutola. It was reported that Taiwo’s girlfriend, Olaife Momoh notified Agbado Division about his actions leading to his detainment. The victim in question is a 34-year-old individual who suffered critical neck injuries and had to be rushed for medical attention at Overcomer Hospital located in Agbado as per statement shared by Ms.Odutola.

According to Odutola, “At around 2 a.m. on July 21st, Olaife Momoh of 11 Sowemimo Street in Akera, Agbado, Ogun State came into the station to report that her boyfriend Dada Taiwo had gotten into an argument with her older brother Damilola Momoh over a borrowed phone. The suspect used a broken bottle and ultimately stabbed Damiloloa severely on the neck which resulted in significant injuries and heavy bleeding.”
It was stressed by Odutola that uncontrolled rage poses a risk, and recommended that young individuals report conflicts to the closest police station instead of seeking revenge. The inquiry regarding the occurrence is still in progress.
