Arthur Judah Angel, a 70-year-old man, was tragically murdered by his own son Arthur Angel Jr., who is only 17 years old as revealed by the Edo State Police Command.

The local community has been shocked by the incident, which was fueled by a disagreement over anticipated funds from Amnesty International.

While addressing reporters in Benin City, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the Command’s Public Relations Officer narrated how a young suspect had persistently accused his father of receiving Amnesty International funds and threatened him. On July 15th, 2024, the situation took a horrific turn when he murdered his sleeping father using a sledgehammer and then buried him in an unmarked grave at their home.
