Adamu, a resident of Sambi Daji village in Tumu District, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State, faced a harrowing ordeal at the hands of his elder brother.

The elder brother accused Adamu of stealing his mobile phone, leading to a disturbing chain of events that resulted in Adamu losing both his hands.

According to Makama’s account, Adamu’s brother tied his hands with a rope in an attempt to force him to confess the whereabouts of the missing phone.

However, the tightness of the rope caused severe damage to Adamu’s hands by cutting off circulation, ultimately leading to the necessity of amputation to save his life.

This distressing turn of events serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of hasty actions driven by suspicion and lack of communication within families.
