A violent confrontation erupted among troublemakers in the vicinity of Ile-Epo in Lagos State, resulting in numerous individuals sustaining injuries.
Reports indicate that the altercation commenced in the marketplace late on Wednesday and persisted through the early hours of Thursday.
During the chaos, several establishments were set ablaze, and merchandise was vandalized.

Furthermore, it was reported that the hoodlums impeded the timely response of law enforcement officers.
In a separate incident, a fire service vehicle attempting to enter the market earlier today was compelled to retreat due to being targeted with projectiles.
