Lagos: 3 Feared Dead After Young Driver’s Car Crash
A tragic collision in Lagos involving an 18-year-old driver has left 3 feared dead and many injured. Get the latest updates on this unfortunate accident.
Early on Sunday, September 22, two cars crashed on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in Lagos State, resulting in a terrible tragedy that claimed the lives of three young men and injured others.
It was reported that the incident occurred about 1:00 AM.
A source on X claimed that the 18-year-old motorist who caused the collision was operating a vehicle without a license. “An eighteen-year-old driver killed three of his friends in an accident,” the source said. Two more survivors were taken into custody by police.

Both of the automobiles involved in the collision contained eight occupants. While a third victim passed suddenly soon after being extricated from the debris, the other two perished instantly.
Both of the drivers—including the youthful driver—lived to tell about the collision.
The event was verified by Benjamin Hundeyin, PRO of the Lagos State Police Command, on X. According to him, the victims were taken to a nearby hospital by the police, who arrived with lightning speed.
Regretfully, the Yaba mortuary received the bodies of the three people who were pronounced deceased. Additionally, according to Hundeyin, the motorist who caused the accident was given medical attention and was given over to his family.
