Kogi Assembly gives green light to N258.2bn 2024 Budget
The N258.2 billion 2024 State Appropriations Bill was approved by the Kogi State House of Assembly and signed into law.
The acceptance of the House Standing Committee on Appropriations, Budget Monitoring, and Economic Planning’s report came before the measure was passed.

Speaker Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf stated that the bill authorised recurrent expenditures of N145.7 billion and capital expenditures of N112.5 billion during the House’s clause-by-clause deliberation.
He stated that the measure would go into force in January 2024 and would specify how money would be distributed to Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
