Kogi APC leader criticises ADC guber candidate for allegedly making a false remark
ADC candidate Elder Leke Abejide has come under fire from a high-ranking member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State for allegedly making false remarks prior to the state’s governorship election on November 11th.
In a statement provided to OBASANJO NEWS24 on Tuesday, Atimah claimed the ADC candidate for governor had been spreading false information about the APC candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, and the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
In denying the claim that Governor Bello wants his kinsman to succeed him in office, which is allegedly attributed to Abejide during one of his campaign appearances, he noted that the ADC candidate is being economical with the truth and should stop spreading falsehood to win unjustified favour from the general public.
He went on to refute reports that Bello preferred Ododo over him by stating that Bello is from the Uporo/Odenku ward in the Okene II State Constituency while Ododo is from the Agassa/Ahache ward of the Okene 1 State Constituency.
