Kano resident pronounced dead in clash between rival groups
One person died, according to the Kano State Police, during an altercation between two competing groups on Wednesday in Kurnan Asabe, the state’s Fagge Local Government Area.
On Wednesday in Kano, Police Commissioner Mr. Hussein Gumel confirmed the incident to NAN.
According to Gumel, the command sent its agents to the area shortly after learning through a good Samaritan that two competing factions in Kurnan Asabe were fighting physically.

He claimed that even though the policemen returned the area to normal right away, the duel ultimately claimed one life.
Gumel said that while security forces were keeping an eye on things, residents of the state should feel free to carry on with their lawful businesses.
He did, however, restate the directive’s caution against, among other things, permitting political gatherings and unapproved processions.
