Idris Okuneye, the controversial Nigerian cross-dresser better known as Bobrisky, has allegedly left Nigeria only a few days after being released from custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a social media video from a first-class cabin, Bobrisky suggested he had traveled by saying, “This girl bought first-class tickets three times; that’s over 30 million,” referring to the cost of his flights.

He left following a series of legal issues, including being sentenced to six months for naira abuse in April. However, he was moved from Kirikiri Prison after just three weeks.

In September, social media influencer Martins Otse, who goes by the name VeryDarkMan, released an audio clip allegedly featuring Bobrisky talking about a plan to bribe EFCC officials in order to dismiss money laundering accusations against him.

Bobrisky’s recent travel plans were disrupted on Thursday when he was taken off an Amsterdam-bound flight at Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

His recent social media updates indicate that he has successfully departed Nigeria for an undisclosed location, maintaining public interest despite ongoing controversies.
