All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Joe Igbokwe has charged activist Aisha Yesufu with acting in an absurd manner.

Igbokwe said that Yesufu’s disdain for the national anthem was harming her and her family.

At a function, Yesufu had declined to perform the new national anthem, “Nigeria we hail thee.”

Yesufu was observed sitting down during an event while others stood up to pay tribute and sing the country’s new song.
