Jigawa announces Thursday a day off from work in observance of Eid-Maulud

To commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W. ), the Jigawa State Government has designated Thursday, September 28, 2023, as a work-free day.

This was said in a statement provided to OBASANJO NEWS24 by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, and signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri.

He advised State employees to make the most of the time and pray for Allah’s protection and guidance over leaders, as well as for the tranquilly and advancement of the State and the nation as a whole.

This comes after the Federal Government proclaimed Wednesday, September 27, a public holiday in observance of this year’s Eid-ul-Maulud celebration.
