Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey delivered a powerful ministration at Donald Trump’s prayer breakfast, declaring ‘Jesus take the White House’ in a viral video.

On Monday, renowned Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey performed at the presidential inaugural prayer breakfast for President Donald Trump.

The non-governmental and non-political event was hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner in Washington DC shortly after Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.

Bassey, a well-known pastor and trumpeter invited to minister to the attendees, performed his song “Take the Stage,” in which he implored Jesus to assume leadership of the White House.

Through his heartfelt music, the trumpeter offered a prayer for divine guidance over the White House and all of the United States, asking God to shine His glory upon the nation.

Bassey previously mentioned receiving a phone call from Reverend Merrie Turner, who had been praying when God directed her to invite Bassey to “release His glory over the United States.”
