Abdul-Azeez Adediran, who is running for governor of Lagos for the PDP, says he will give back all land that the government has taken by force.

Adediran, also known as “Jandor,” made this statement on Sunday at a discussion with party stakeholders in Eti-Osa LGA as part of his tour of the council for the election.

The PDP candidate also said that if he were elected governor, his administration would look into whether or not previous administrations had demolished land around Lagos.

“As governor, I’m going to defend this neighborhood.” I have stated that all of the state’s illegally taken land that has been used for personal gain will be recovered and returned to its owners.

“When I become governor, I’ll take the land back and give it to the people.” Either we want things to stay the same or we want them to change.

“I would reclaim those lands if I were elected.” I would construct the necessary infrastructure, including general hospitals. God’s dread would permeate our administration, and humane measures would be our priority.

“We ought to give the PDP our state.” It is in everyone’s best interest for PDP to win this election. We must thus make every effort to ensure that our party prevails.

“God has observed your sacrifice and suffering over the years. He intends to provide you with compensation in 2023.

Adediran promised to make investments in the empowerment of women and young people in order to reduce unemployment in the state.

“This is your government, tailors of Lagos State. To put money in your pockets, the neighborhood tailors will complete it in their area, he said.

“With God’s fear, we would serve Lagos.” I am only running for Lagos governor because I care about the wellbeing of the people.
