Charles Okocha, a well-known actor in the Nigerian film industry, has called for the cancellation of his scheduled boxing match against controversial singer Portable.
The match, which was intended to resolve a financial dispute between the two celebrities, ended with Portable emerging as the victor.
Okocha, however, has raised concerns about the fairness of the match, accusing both the referee and the organizers of rigging the outcome.
Taking to his social media platform, the actor alleged that Portable had removed his boxing gloves during the third round, an action that should have resulted in immediate disqualification.
Okocha expressed his disappointment with the situation, stating that the fight was clearly manipulated and criticizing the referee’s lack of knowledge regarding boxing rules. Despite the setback, Okocha remains determined and has hinted at the possibility of a rematch in the near future.
