Individual Successfully Swims Across Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos

Akinrodoye Samuel, a Nigerian athlete also known as Coach Dreh, undertook a remarkable feat by swimming across the 11.8-kilometer-long Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos to raise awareness about mental health.

Starting from Oworonshoki on the mainland and finishing at Adeniji Adenle on the island, the CEO of Ocean 28 Swimming Academy, Coach Dreh, swam for a total of 2 hours and 33 minutes, showcasing his endurance and commitment to the cause.

Throughout his challenging journey, Coach Dreh was accompanied by supportive friends and colleagues who cheered him on, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and encouragement in tackling mental health issues.

Prior to embarking on this significant swim, Coach Dreh highlighted the transformative power of his decade-long swimming career, expressing his belief that seeking help is crucial for those struggling with mental health challenges.
