Imo Traders Chairman Arrested on Corruption Charges by Uzodimma’s Order
Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, has taken decisive action against corruption by ordering the immediate arrest and detention of Mr Emmanuel Ezeanochie, the Chairman of Imo State Amalgamated Traders Association (ISAMATA).
The state government made a special announcement on Monday night, stating that Mr Ezeanochie had fraudulently used the government’s name to unlawfully acquire land and market stalls for personal gain.

In addition to this, the Governor has also approved the dissolution of the state executive committee of ISAMATA.
The Commissioner for Information, Public Orientations, and Strategy, Hon Declan Emelumba, emphasized that the relevant security agencies must conduct thorough investigations into the allegations and prosecute Mr Ezeanochie if found guilty.
