The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has issued a statement urging the general public to disregard the alleged suspension of the national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Alhaji Zakari Sarina, the party’s secretary in the state, emphasized during a press briefing in Kano on Monday that any suspension of Ganduje by a certain group of individuals holds no validity.
Sarina highlighted that the suspension, which was declared on Sunday by a faction within the party, was carried out by individuals who are not even members of the party.

He further explained that it is practically impossible for non-members to impose a suspension on a national officer without following the established procedures outlined in the party’s constitution.
Sarina firmly stated that they remain unfazed by the actions of these impostors.
He pointed out that based on the information available, those responsible for this recent development are merely political opportunists seeking personal gains at the expense of the party’s integrity.
