I supported Yvonne Nelson’s book without realizing I was mentioned in it- Iyanya

Singer Iyanya recently revealed that he unknowingly endorsed his former Ghanaian girlfriend, actress Yvonne Nelson’s controversial memoir, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,’ without being aware of his inclusion in the book.

According to The Nation, Nelson detailed her relationship with Iyanya in a chapter titled “Iyanya And My Love Life,” shedding light on his infidelity with Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh.

During an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Iyanya mentioned that he had endorsed the book without prior knowledge of its contents.

Despite his initial promise to address Nelson’s claims upon the book’s release last year, the singer expressed his current reluctance to engage with his ex-girlfriend’s accusations of infidelity.

Iyanya emphasized that he and Nelson remain on good terms and maintain regular communication. He explained that he had endorsed the book in a friendly gesture, unaware of the revelations it contained.

Despite the widespread buzz surrounding the memoir’s release, Iyanya admitted that he has yet to read the book and is not prepared to respond to the allegations made against him.
