Muhammadu Buhari, the former president, has taken pride in his ability to combat unemployment, insecurity, and ensure investments.

According to Buhari, Nigerians can already tell the difference between these areas and his administration.

According to the former President, Nigeria saw investment during his administration as a result of his achievements in combating insecurity.

He made these remarks in an interview that was released on the Nigeria Television Authority’s (NTA) X page.

Compared to the regimes he succeeded, the former president maintained that his administration reduced insecurity and improved the economy.

“Not quite, but I would like Nigerians to reflect on the condition of Boko Haram before we came in and also the economy,” Buhari responded when asked if he had fulfilled his aims.

Therefore, the goals I set for the administration I led were economic growth, security, and anti-corruption efforts. I’m hoping Nigerians have been paying attention and have seen the change.

“I understand that the administration I oversaw was fortunate to appoint the youthful and uncorruptible governor of Borno State. We were fortunate that he was leading Boko Haram’s operations in the Northeast.

“We succeeded in insecurity, which gave Nigerians more confidence in their nation and encouraged them to invest more, as well as outsiders who came and made investments,” the speaker said. “I achieved my goal in security, economy, and employment.”
