I killed my friend and sold the head and heart for N200,000 – Man admitted in Ogun
Idowu Abel, together with Clement Adeniyi, admitted to the police how they murdered Adekunle Muyiwa, a close friend, in cold blood.
Obasanjonews24 discovered that Abel had informed the Ogun State police that he and Adeniyi had murdered his buddy and sold his head, heart, and two hands to a herbalist after the herbalist had been introduced to them by a Pastor Felix Ajadi.
On Saturday, November 19, 2022, personnel from the Ogun State Police Command allegedly detained the trio of Abel, Adeniyi, and the so-called Pastor Ajadi “for abducting, murdering, and dismembering Muyiwa’s body for ceremonial purpose.”
Oluwaseyi Adekunle, an older relative of the victim, reported the victim’s younger brother had left home on November 10, 2022, and had never returned on November 15 to the Owode Yewa divisional headquarters.
The DPO of the Owode Yewa division, CSP Mohammed S. Baba, working on the complaint, detailed his crack detectives to solve the riddle surrounding the abrupt disappearance of Muyiwa, according to the Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the occurrence on Tuesday.
During their inquiry, Idowu Abel was found to have picked up the missing guy from his home on that tragic day, according to Oyeyemi.
This finding allowed for the tracking and capture of the aforementioned Abel.
Abel confessed during questioning, according to Oyeyemi, that “the victim, who happened to be his dearest friend, was enticed out by him and transported to his second accomplice’s farm, Clement Adeniyi’s, where he was slaughtered and chopped to pieces.”
According to Oyeyemi, he also admitted that a particular herbalist who had been recommended to him by Pastor Felix Ajadi had asked for a human head, heart, two hands, and legs.
Further, it was said that the now-wanted herbalist “promised to pay him the sum of N200,000 if he was able to collect the mentioned body parts”
Oyeyemi said Abel admitted receiving an advance payment of N80,000 with the understanding that the remaining N120,000 would be paid upon delivery of the goods.
Abel went to Muyiwa and asked him to follow him after getting the advance money.
“As a longtime buddy, the victim followed him naively without suspecting any wrongdoing.
They murdered him and dissected his body at Clement Adeniyi’s property after transporting him there.
He had his skull severed, along with his heart.
The remaining pieces were interred in a little cemetery on the mentioned property, according to Oyeyemi.
Obasanjonews24 discovered that Abel’s confession has resulted in the arrests of the Pastor and his ally.
The herbalist, known only as Abeeb (also known as Boko), is still wanted by the police.
Meanwhile, Lanre Bankole, the commissioner of police in Ogun, has directed that the fleeing herbalist be apprehended and that the suspects be sent right away to the State CIID’s homicide division for a covert investigation.
