How I thwarted Obasanjo’s plans for third term – Atiku
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, has revealed how he thwarted former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s attempt for a third term.
On Sunday night in Abuja, he made this announcement at a gathering with the party’s National Assembly candidates.
According to Atiku, “during my time as Vice President, I formed a very close relationship with members of the National Assembly, and it is that friendship that enabled us to thwart Obasanjo’s bid for a third term in office.
