Hardship: Joe Igbokwe Mocks Tinubu Government, Says Nigeria’s Rescuers ‘Not Yet Born
In a sharp critique of the Tinubu administration, Joe Igbokwe claims that those who will rescue Nigeria from its current hardship are ‘not yet born.’ Explore his controversial remarks.
A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has stressed that the man who will save Nigeria is yet to be born.
Igbokwe spoke in light of the rising food prices in the country.
The APC chieftain in a Facebook post complained that the price of a bag of rice has risen to N100,000.
“My wife just told me that she has used all the rice mills in Nigeria and now a bag of rice costs over N100,000.
I do not mean to sound disrespectful but I must say that the man or woman who will save this country from the pain and tears of self inflicted harm is yet to be born,” he wrote.
Igbokwe, a known supporter of President Bola Tinubu, last week criticised some of the policies of the current government.
