Governor Ododo’s 11 new appointees have been confirmed by Kogi Assembly
The 11 new appointees of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo have been officially confirmed by the Kogi State House of Assembly, as announced during a plenary session held on Thursday.

Among those confirmed are Christopher Ayo Olubunmi, who will serve as the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Commission, Steven Joseph as Permanent Member I, Barnabas Oyibo as Permanent Member II, and Himmikaye Joe-Dare Babajide as Permanent Member III.
Additionally, the Assembly has given its approval for the appointment of Sheikh Luqman Imam Abdullahi as the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Hajj Commission, Hon. Sarikiv Abdullahi Abdulkadir as Permanent Member I, Mohammed Yahaya Abubilat as Permanent Member II, and Haruna Dauda Okuku as Permanent Member III.
Notably, Alhassan Adakeke, a former Majority Leader in the Kogi State House of Assembly, has been confirmed as Permanent Member I of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board.
Furthermore, Dauda Aliyu and Abdulrahaman Aziz Obini have also been confirmed as Permanent Member I and II respectively of the same agency, solidifying the new appointments made by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
