Ganduje’s selection as APC chairman will facilitate reconciliation, says Yakubu
Abdallah Yakubu, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has maintained that the election of Abdullahi Ganduje as the party’s national chairman would open the door to genuine peace.
According to NAN, Yakubu made this disclosure in a statement while praising the National Executive Council, or NEC, of the APC for approving Ganduje on the basis of insight and knowledge.
Therefore, the decision to select Ganduje must have been made with caution and foresight, he said.
“The celebration is bigger and greater than any of us. So, please accept my heartfelt congratulations to the new national chairman.
We can only express our sincere admiration for Bola Tinubu, our friendliest President, for his distinctive leadership style. You want to run a party and government that is open to all.
On Thursday, during the APC’s 12th NEC meeting in Abuja, Ganduje was chosen to serve as its chairman.
The former governor of Kano State, Ganduje, has since been encouraged by President Bola Tinubu to foster cohesion, harmony, and love among all party members.
