Former Appeal Court Justice Belgore’s Passing Mourned in Kwara

Kwara State is currently in a state of mourning following the passing of retired Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ahmad Belgore, who died at the age of 71.

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Justice Belgore, who breathed his last on Tuesday night after retiring from the Court of Appeal on April 18, 2023, upon reaching the age of 70.

Governor AbdulRazaq extended his sincere condolences to the entire Ilorin Emirate and the Belgores family, recognizing the loss of a remarkable individual.

He prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for Justice Belgore’s shortcomings, his acceptance into al-Jannah Firdaus, and strength for the Belgores family and all those mourning his departure.

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, also conveyed his condolences, highlighting Justice Belgore’s significant contributions to the judiciary and humanity, describing his passing as a great loss to the Ilorin Emirate and the nation as a whole.

Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari prayed for the acceptance of Justice Belgore’s good deeds, forgiveness of his faults, and his admission into Al-Janatul Firdaus.
