In order to promote interaction and assistance for ecosystem participants, he continued, the startup portal would spearhead the identification and consolidation of Nigerian startups, venture capital firms, hubs, and innovation centres.

According to the Minister, the portal’s opening would enable the nation to start the process of establishing startup consultative forums for the purpose of choosing delegates for the National Council for Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Tijani claims that this will subsequently aid in promoting dialogue and agreement between stakeholders in the Nigerian ecosystem.

Tijani said, “We invite all Nigerian startups, hubs, and innovation centres to register at the portal https://startup.gov.ng.”
