FCT: Rivers native Fred Barivure is named Special Assistant- Wike
Dr. Barivure Fred Kpakol is now the Senior Special Assistant on Environment and Waste Management for Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.
Kpakol is a valuable addition to the hardworking staff at the FCT Administration because of his extensive experience and qualifications, according to a statement signed by Anthony Ogunleye, the director of press.
The new appointee has an impressive academic background and was born in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State on May 26, 1961.

The Federal University of Technology Owerri awarded the Rivers-born appointee a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, and a Doctorate degree in Banking and Finance. These qualifications were mentioned in the FCTA statement.
His notable positions include Vice Chairman of the PDP in the Rivers South East Senatorial Zone, Executive Chairman of Gokana Local Government, State Secretary of the Rivers State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, and Commissioner for Agriculture and Finance for the State of Rivers.
