Father sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting his three children
Ademola Oladimeji, a man, was sentenced to four life terms in jail by an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Monday for sexually abusing his three children.

The three kids were five, seven, and nine years old.
Judge Abiola Soladoye rendered a decision, concluding that the prosecution’s witnesses’ testimony was credible and accurate.
But according to Soladoye, their evidence proved that sexual assault by penetration—rather than defilement—was a crime.
She claimed that the mother of the three survivors and the investigating police officer both supported their testimony.
After carefully examining the evidence presented to the court, Judge declared: “The children did not claim their father put his penis inside their ‘bumbum,’ they merely stated he touched their ‘bumbum.’”
“I watched the trio of them. They did not fabricate evidence against their father, nor did they claim that he just used his fingers instead of his penis.
“The children testified without wavering about how their father repeatedly played with their innocence by sticking his fingers in their vaginas.
The defendant’s wife testified that the kids had complained of pain in their private areas and that the Mirabel Medical Centre had told her the kids had been sexually molested.
The defendant was frantically trying to disassociate himself from the accusation by rejecting the charges, the judge said.
She stated as follows: “This court does not believe his narration, even though he denied deceiving his daughters; his testimony did not add up for me.”
His narration made clear how determined he is to clear his name of any wrongdoing involving his own kids.
“The court maintains that there was penetration because the defendant tampered with the purity of his three children, as evidenced by oral and written testimony presented to the court.”
According to Soladoye, the defendant’s actions were abhorrent, immoral, incestuous, and against the natural order.
The judge subsequently modified the charges to sexual assault by penetration after finding that the prosecution had not proven the three counts that bordered on defilement, and he found him guilty on all of them.
Oladimeji was also found guilty on the fourth count of sexual assault by penetration, and he was given a life sentence on each count.
The judge decided that the sentence will be served consecutively.
According to Soladoye, the convict’s name should be entered on the Lagos State Sexual Offences Register.
While the convict appeared as a lone witness, state attorney Mrs. Olufunke Adegoke brought five witnesses to support the state’s case.
