Fatality on London-Singapore flight with 211 passengers, 18 crew

A tragic incident occurred on a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore, resulting in one confirmed fatality and multiple injuries among passengers.

The Boeing 777-300ER had to make an emergency landing in Bangkok due to severe turbulence, touching down at 15:45 local time.

The airline, in a statement released on Tuesday, expressed its deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased individual.

Flight SQ 321 was carrying a total of 211 passengers and 18 crew members at the time of the incident.

Singapore Airlines also mentioned that they were collaborating with Thai authorities to ensure that all necessary medical assistance was provided to the affected passengers.

A team was dispatched to Bangkok to offer any additional support required by those involved in the distressing event.

Reports from BBC indicated that Thai emergency services had promptly responded by sending ambulances and emergency teams to Suvarnabhumi Airport to assist the passengers upon their arrival.
