Fani-Kayode slams Shekarau for saying Tinubu is very ill, saying, “Thunder fire you.”
Femi Fani-Kayode, a spokesman for the presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), criticised Senator Ibrahim Shekarau for saying that the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is not qualified to lead Nigeria.
Shekarau, who used to be the governor of Kano State, said at a news conference on Sunday that Tinubu is very sick and can’t be Nigeria’s next president.
“Were we wrong when we indicated that @officialABAT is critically ill or that his behaviour is unstable?” he said. How can you choose him to be your first citizen?
In response to the claim that Tinubu is not physically able to be president, Fani-Kayode called Shekarau a careless and dishonest person in a series of tweets on Monday. He also said that thunder would get rid of the former governor.
“Irresponsible and dishonest words from an irresponsible and dishonest man in an irresponsible and dishonest party,” he wrote.
“Ibrahim, thunder fire. Asiwaju is not the one who is extremely ill or unstable; it is @atiku. He is ill in body, mind, and spirit.
We don’t want a sick and troubled “non-binary” president who spends all of his time in Dubai. Like @officialABAT, a real man is what we seek.
