Wilfried Zaha, a forward for Crystal Palace, is expected to make a shocking switch to Chelsea this summer.
According to reports, Chelsea is considering using the summer transfer window to sign Zaha for free.
The West London club wants to strengthen their assault and sees Zaha as the ideal candidate.
The Blues have reportedly joined the competition for the Ivorian’s services, according to The Guardian.
The Ivory Coast international is a big supporter of Mauricio Pochettino, who is presently the favorite to succeed Antonio Conte as Chelsea’s next permanent manager and sought to sign him to Tottenham.
When he becomes a free agent in the summer, Zaha will have plenty of suitors, including Al Nassr and clubs like Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Munich, AS Roma, and Marseille.
Crystal Palace hasn’t given up on trying to extend Zaha’s contract, though.
According to reports, in order to keep him at the club, Palace has proposed a remarkable four-year contract worth £200,000 per week.
