EPL: Tottenham secures top four spot with win against N’Forest

Tottenham reclaimed their spot in the Premier League’s top four after a long absence by securing a victory against Nottingham Forest.

The match kicked off with the hosts taking the lead within the first 15 minutes as Forest defender Murillo accidentally scored an own goal from Timo Werner’s cross.

Nottingham Forest managed to equalize 12 minutes later through Chris Wood, who capitalized on Anthony Elanga’s cross to find the back of the net.

However, Tottenham’s center-back Micky van de Ven swiftly restored their lead in the 52nd minute with a powerful strike from outside the penalty area that hit the top corner of the goal.

Just six minutes later, Pedro Porro extended Tottenham’s lead by scoring a third goal for Spurs, converting James Maddison’s pass into a goal.

This victory propelled Tottenham above Aston Villa in the standings based on goal difference, despite having played one game less than their rivals.

On the other hand, Nottingham Forest remained in 17th place, narrowly avoiding the relegation zone due to their superior goal difference over Luton.
