Chelsea have officially announced that Thiago Silva will be leaving the club this summer to join Fluminense.
The statement was released on Tuesday through the club’s official website. According to the statement, after the final game of the Premier League season against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, Thiago Silva will bid farewell to Chelsea and reunite with his former Brazilian club.
Chelsea has reached an agreement with Thiago Silva, allowing him to join his new teammates at Fluminense early, as he has signed a two-year contract with the Brazilian club.

Thiago Silva, who has spent four seasons with Chelsea, will be departing from the club and returning to Fluminense, as confirmed by Chelsea in an official statement.
The statement further reveals that Thiago Silva will start training with Fluminense before his registration is transferred on July 1.
During his time at Chelsea, the 39-year-old defender made over 150 appearances and achieved notable successes, including winning the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.
