Marcus Rashford, the talented forward for Manchester United, has recently expressed his dissatisfaction with the criticism he has faced throughout this season, describing it as “abuse.”

Despite his commendable performance of scoring eight goals in 40 appearances this campaign, the 26-year-old has been subjected to harsh comments from both fans and pundits.

In response to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, which condemned the treatment he has received as “absolutely disgusting” and “cruel,” Rashford emphasized that the level of criticism has reached an unbearable point.

He firmly stated, “It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.”

It is worth noting that Rashford, who impressively scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, faced further setbacks when he was benched for two matches by manager Erik ten Hag following a subpar performance in United’s 1-0 defeat against Newcastle in December.

Additionally, his off-field conduct was also criticized by the Dutch manager.
